How the LOVE QUEST came to life.

The history of the book spans over two decades. Though it has undergone several minor rewrites, the idea was born and the first rendition of the story was in 1995. It was one of a series of stories for children. The LOVE QUEST was always -according to the author- everyone’s favorite, because it is a book about love and the meaning of love. The book publicly “premiered”, very appropriately, at a wedding of the author’s friend who requested that the officiant read the story in lieu of the traditional ceremony.

The book waited quite a while to find its visual expression. It took a few years to find the right artist whose aesthetics could create the synergy of visual art with the author’s text. It was only after getting inspired by the works of Belorussian artist Anna Silivonchik that the author realized he found his match. It was Anna’s extraordinary vision that allowed the journey of the boy who set out to find the meaning of love to come back home happy with answers to finally be shared with all.
